Bora SOYKUT
Bora Soykut is an architect born in Istanbul in 1969 . He completed his architecture education at Yıldız Technical University Faculty of Architecture in 1994 . In 2006, he completed his first master's degree in architecture at Yıldız Technical University with his thesis titled "A Research on the Quest for Creating New Living Spaces on Water" on architectural design1 . In 2020 , he completed his 2nd master's degree on Cinema Theater Architecture at Diderot University in Paris1 .
He has held various positions throughout his career. He worked as a research assistant at Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, between 1996 and 1999 . He established his own studio between 2000-2004 and pursued his own projects1 . He worked as Team Leader and Architectural Designer in European Union Turkey Projects between 2004 and 2007 . In 2005, he worked at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality / Urban Transformation Office as a Concept Project Designer / Design Consultant for Istanbul to participate in MIPIM 2005 Cannes, France 1 .
He worked as Project Manager at GAD Architects (New York-Istanbul), Vizzion Architects (Brussels-Istanbul) between 2007-2014, and in the same period, he managed the Project Studios at Yıldız Technical University Faculty of Architecture as an invited faculty member1 . Between 2009 and 2017, he worked as "Study & Project Manager / Design Office Manager" at EPP Real Estate Planning Construction and Project Development Company 1 . He has been working as an architectural design coordinator for new investment projects in a private company in Algeria since 20171 .
Bora Soykut also managed the project consisting of the Giresun Sports Complex, the new Giresun Stadium (Çotanak Arena) and the Olympic Swimming Pool structures, for which he prepared the concept and preliminary project within the EPP2 .
